Deep Geothermal Geological Conditions and Optimization of Strategic Favorable Areas In Fujian-Guangdong-Hainan Area
Fujian-Guangdong-Hainan area (hereinafter referred to as Minyueqiong area) has outcropped various igneous rocks along the southeast coast of China. The complex geological conditions in this area are the key questions for deep geothermal resources exploration and evaluation. This paper discussed about key issues such as heat source composition, deep geothermal formation conditions, strategic area and key exploration direction of deep geothermal resources in this area. Some achievements and understandings have been obtained: heat sources in Minyueqiong area are mainly composed of heat generation from radioactive elements of granites in the crust and heat from mantle conduction, and there are also additional heat sources such as middle and lower crust melt body in some areas (such as Yangjiang, Shantou area). It is suggested that the deep high temperature geothermal resources are mainly distributed in the depression area of basins with triple heat source superposition area (including crust heat, mantle heat and additional heat source). Based on analysis of regional geothermal reservoir conditions, regional cover conditions, three strategic favorable zone of deep geothermal resources in Minyueqiong area are selected: the continental area of Beibu Gulf Basin, Yuezhong depression and Fuzhou-Zhangzhou area.
