According to preliminary calculation, the total static reserves of only two sets of main thermal reservoirs in the Lantian-Bahe Formation and Gaoling Group are 347.6×108m3 and the recoverable reserves are 6.96×108m3. It is a large-scale geothermal field. The success of geothermal exploration and development in Xianyang urban area can be summarized as unified planning, scientific and orderly development; cooperation between enterprises and land, standardized management, demonstration and guidance; combination of production and irrigation, sustainable development and utilization; optimization of drilling technology and improvement of engineering quality; Reduce costs and increase efficiency; save energy and reduce emissions, and support the dual-carbon strategy. The practice in Xianyang urban area shows that the large-scale and effective development of geothermal resources in Xianyang fully meets the development requirements of renewable, sustainable and recyclable energy.
