Study of Paleogeomorphic Restoration and Karst Law of Ordovician Geothermal Reserviors of Xiwenzhuang Geothermal Field, Taiyuan

Controlled by karstification, carbonate thermal reservoirs have strong heterogeneity, which severely restricts the effect of geothermal drilling results. Based on the data of drilling and logging, combined with the tectonic evolution history of the basin, and according to the combination relationship of film thickness and residual thickness of the upper and lower strata of the weathered crust, this paper establishes a karst paleomorphology interpretation geological model to study the Lower Paleozoic weathered crust paleomorphology of the Xiwenzhuang geothermal field in Jinzhong Depression. In addition, the characteristics and development rules of longitudinal karst under the control of different karst geomorphology are discussed. The results show that the karst paleomorphology in the study area has the characteristics of depressions and uplifts separated from each other. The karst highlands are located at the northern, eastern and southern edges of the study area, and the karst basins are located at the west and northeast sides of the study area, and the karst slopes are widely developed as transitional landforms throughout the region.
