Distribution Characteristics of Tropical Geothermal Anomalies and Geothermal Resource Potential In Cangxian Uplift

Abstract: Cangxian uplift is located in the middle east of the geothermal area of the Bohai Bay extensional sedimentary basin, the geothermal zone mainly includes the urban area of Tianjin and some areas of Hebei province, the urban heating demand is highly matched with the distribution area of high-quality geothermal resources. Based on the previous research results and the latest data of 10 geothermal wells, this paper analyzes the quality of different types of geothermal resources in Cangxian uplift belt under different "supplementary-diameter-drainage" conditions, and summarizes the distribution law of geothermal anomalies and the potential of geothermal resources. The results show as flow: Cangxian uplift geothermal belt is a geothermal system dominated by conductive heat transfer mechanism under the background of high geothermal flow value. The atmospheric precipitation received by the bedrock in the exposed area of north Yan Mountain is used as the near source recharge water source. The cold water entering the bedrock is heated and warmed by the deep heat source in the process of deep circulation, and migrates and enriches upward along the fault fracture zone and unconformity, forming three sets of main hot water reservoirs. Guantao formation sandstone geothermal reservoir has a floor buried depth is 900 ~1700m and the temperature is range 35~65℃. Such geothermal reservoir is less developed in the area, which is only distributed in Wangcaozhuang uplift、Shuangyao uplift, Panzhuang uplift and Litan depression. Ordovician karst reservoir is widely buried in Cangxian uplift with the buried depth of the top surface is 1000~2500m, and the heat storage temperature is 45~135 ℃. Wumishan formation of Jixian system is distributed in the whole area. The buried depth of the top surface of the uplift area is 1000~3500m, and the heat storage temperature is 75~130℃. According to the geothermal reservoir volume method, the available static geothermal resources in the Cangxian uplift are 4790 billion GJ, which can meet the heating area of 970 million square meters, so the development potential is great.
